I started reading it before George Floyd’s murder. Jesmyn Ward’s novel is beautiful, devastating, and unforgettable. ![]() I’ve needed space and time to process it. I finished Sing, Unburied, Sing nearly a month ago and have struggled to read anything else over the last few weeks.
